Natasha's Biography
B.Eng. degree in Space Engineering and M.Sc. in Earth and Space Science, York University. Specialized is space communications. Worked as a researcher at York University on projects in collaboration with companies such as COMDEV. Currently works as a Systems Engineer at Aflare Systems Inc, an engineering company based in Toronto developing revolutionary space communication products. She likes to run marathons and has a keen interest in music.

As a Systems Engineer at Aflare Systems Inc., I am a part of the design and development team for BlueShift and SCRAM projects, products being built by Aflare Systems for space communications leveraging current technology trends such as software defined systems. I am involved in the end to end development cycle at Aflare Systems and love the opportunity to continuously improve my knowledgebase and experience with a team that shares a passion for space technology.

I have always been a vocal supporter for women in this cutting edge world of space technology. Inspired by personalities such as Kalpana Chawla & Sunita Williams, I hope that we will drive this exhilarating research oriented field for technological growth in our world. I actively participate in Go-Eng Girl workshops to encourage students towards this field.
